ilmSupport is a platform built to support seekers of knowledge in a practical, sincere and realistic way. It is connected to the wider education work of al-Manarah Institute.
It was established to make seeking knowledge feel more structured and less confusing for those who need clarity, stronger foundations, and useful next steps.
Founder
ilmSupport is led by Daniyal Dos Santos al-Andalusi and supported by a team of qualified teachers and specialists.
He embraced Islam in 2013 and has remained passionate and true to seeking knowledge ever since. He has studied Classical Arabic and advanced Islamic Sciences via a traditional path in a local institute in the UK at Al-Fajr Academy. Alongside full-time work, he continues to increase his knowledge online, and he has founded Al-Manārah Institute in 2023 to spread beneficial knowledge such as Arabic and the Enlightened Islamic Sciences. He is also the co-founder of Al-Haqq Organisation which is a local unity and da’wah organisation in West Yorkshire, UK.
ilmSupport grows out of this wider work in student support, Arabic learning and Islamic studies.
Why ilmSupport was founded
Many students want to move forward more seriously in seeking knowledge, but often face the same problems:
- Weak foundations
- Scattered sources, methods or opinions about seeking knowledge
- Uncertainty about where to begin
- Lack of clarity about the next step
- Confusion about studying locally, overseas or online
- Difficulty accessing suitable and structured support
ilmSupport was founded to respond to those problems in a practical way.
Scope and boundaries
ilmSupport is intended to offer practical study support and selected services within a clear and limited scope. ilmSupport does not present itself as:
- A fatwa service
- Consultation Service
- A legal or immigration advisory service
- An official admissions representative
- Guaranteed academic or admissions outcomes
- A general agency for every type of translation or editing work
Requests are considered case by case according to scope, suitability, and current capacity. Any request outside scope should be clarified before work begins.
Where needed, clients remain responsible for confirming formal requirements directly with the relevant institution, authority, or service provider.
