About

ilmSupport is a growing hub connected to the wider educational work of Al-Manārah Institute, created for students and seekers of knowledge. It aims to offer clarity, useful resources, and suitable support to help seekers build stronger foundations and take more informed next steps.

It was established to make the path of seeking knowledge more structured and less confusing for those who need direction, stronger foundations, and realistic guidance.

Founder

ilmSupport is founded and led by Abu Humayd al-Andalusi. His work focuses on clear Arabic teaching, practical support for students of knowledge, and helping learners take realistic next steps without confusion or exaggerated promises.

He embraced Islam in 2013 and sought Islamic knowledge ever since. He has studied Classical Arabic and advanced Islamic Sciences via a traditional path in a local institute in the UK at Al-Fajr Academy. Alongside full-time work, he continues to increase his knowledge online, and he has founded Al-Manārah Institute in 2023 to spread beneficial knowledge such as Arabic and Islamic Sciences. He is also the co-founder of Al-Haqq Organisation which is a local unity and da’wah organisation in West Yorkshire, UK.

ilmSupport grows out of this wider work in student support, Arabic learning and Islamic studies.

Why ilmSupport was founded

Many students want to move forward more seriously in seeking knowledge, but often face the same problems:

  • Weak foundations
  • Scattered sources, methods or opinions about seeking knowledge
  • Uncertainty about where to begin
  • Lack of clarity about the next step
  • Confusion between studying locally, overseas or online, and the different paths and methods to seek ‘ilm
  • Difficulty accessing suitable and structured support

ilmSupport was founded to respond to those problems in a practical way.
